Happy Fish in Papier-Mâché

Handmade for Pink Pampas by our artisans in Mexico, this decorative fish is born from the meeting of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary imagination. Inspired by the fantastic world of surrealism, it reinterprets one of the most iconic symbols of the marine universe through vibrant colors, painterly details, and playful shapes that transform a simple object into a small work of art.

Created in papier-mâché, a material deeply rooted in Mexican popular culture, each piece is the result of a slow and entirely manual process: the paper is shaped, layered, left to dry, and finally hand-painted, in a process that requires time, precision, and skill. Through Pink Pampas’ creative vision, this ancient technique is renewed and takes on a new, ironic, and poetic form.

Thanks to the cord, it can be hung as a small wall sculpture, perfect for bringing a touch of color and fantasy to beach houses, bathrooms, or any space that wants to evoke the lightness and magic of the aquatic world.
